Joy Cox

Originally from South Carolina, I made my way to Oklahoma 14 years ago when my husband’s U.S. Navy career brought us here. After 22 years of active duty service, he’s now retired, and we’re proud to call Oklahoma our forever home.

I’ve spent the last 14 years supporting real estate professionals in administrative leadership roles, and I now serve as the Director of Compliance & Disbursements for Redhawk Real Estate. While I’m a licensed agent, my true passion is behind the scenes—ensuring every transaction is handled with accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail from contract to close. I focus on maintaining brokerage standards, overseeing compliance, and managing the disbursement process so our agents can move forward with confidence. I work closely with our agents and title partners to ensure each file is seamless, compliant, and closed efficiently.

Outside of real estate, I co-own a travel agency where I play a similar behind-the-scenes role, managing operations and supporting a team of travel advisors so they can focus on delivering exceptional client experiences. I have a deep love for travel and enjoy exploring new destinations and cultures whenever I can.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me traveling, grabbing sushi, or enjoying tacos and happy hour at one of our local favorites. Oklahoma’s welcoming spirit—much like my South Carolina roots—has made it a wonderful place to raise our two daughters: Brianna, an OR nurse, and Katelynn, who is currently in nursing school. My husband of 23 years—my high school sweetheart—and our Frenchie, Kash, keep me grounded, while my “granddog,” Tank, adds even more joy to the mix. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge Frenchie fan!

Helping build Redhawk from the ground up since April 2024 has been one of my proudest accomplishments. I truly believe in the culture we’ve created—one that feels like family and celebrates every win together.
